June 22, 2020 Dear Mr. Reynoso, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated June 2, 2020 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You requested for the data on the following topic: “Monthly stock market indexes from January 2000 to December 2005” Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, this Office does not produce the data you have requested. PIDS regularly requests data on stock market indices from the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) and uploads the same in the PIDS Economic and Social Database (ESD). Currently, the earliest monthly stock indices available in the PIDS ESD website (http://econdb.pids.gov.ph/) is January 2006. For data covering earlier period, you may contact PSE directly via [email protected]. Aside from the database, you may want to check other PIDS publications that are available on our website (https://www.pids.gov.ph/publications). For further assistance, you may review the FAQ section of the eFOI site: https://www.foi.gov.ph/help. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response, by writing to the Central Appeals and Review Committee through [email protected].
