Our family would like to request your good office to help our family pay for my mother's hospital bills and medication at Philippine Heart Center last September 13 to 27, 2021 due to COVID19 and pneumonia. All her children have no permanent and stable jobs to pay for her bills. We would really appreciate and thank your good office if you can help us with this matter. Thank you very much.

September 28, 2021 Dear Darwin Banagan, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Sep 27, 2021 10:35:04 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Medication and Hospital Bills Assistance Senior Citizen Covid Positive with Pneumonia. Response to your request We wish to inform you that the coverage of financial assistance under the PCSO Medical Assistance Program is for hospital confinement, chemotherapy and dialysis requests. Application for assistance shall depend upon the location of the health facility where the patient is being managed/treated. For facilities within Metro Manila, assistance is processed through online application at the PCSO Official Website. Please go to , find the E-Services tab and click on the NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance. For the Medical Assistance Program requirements, kindly go to this link https://www.pcso.gov.ph/ProgramsAndServices/CAD/MedicalAccessProgram.aspx. For those in the provinces, either proceed directly to the servicing PCSO Branch Office or coordinate first with the Medical Social Services or Billing Department of the facility, if applicable, to inquire on the specific process, as procedures vary between Branch Offices. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to . Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
