Three weeks ago, my uncle was examined with having abdominal symptoms and after the CT scan it revealed that he’s been suffering from Ruptured Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Infrarenal, which required undergoing an operation at Southern Philippines Medical Center, Davao City.
With this, I would like to humbly request your organization, to please assist us for the bills that covered the operation including the treatments and medicine of my uncle.

You asked for Medical & Financial Assistance.
Response to your request
We wish to inform you that the coverage of financial assistance under the PCSO Medical Assistance Program is for hospital confinement, chemotherapy and dialysis requests. Application for assistance shall depend upon the location of the health facility where the patient is being managed/treated.
For facilities within Metro Manila, assistance is processed through online application at the PCSO Official Website. Please go to , find the E-Services tab and click on the NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance.
For the Medical Assistance Program requirements, kindly go to this link https://www.pcso.gov.ph/ProgramsAndServices/CAD/MedicalAccessProgram.aspx.
For those in the provinces, either proceed directly to the servicing PCSO Branch Office or coordinate first with the Medical Social Services or Billing Department of the facility, if applicable, to inquire on the specific process, as procedures vary between Branch Offices.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to .
