Ako po si Erson Primero, taga Mangatarem, isang teacher by profession pero struggle po na makapasok sa permanenteng trabaho. Ang nanay ko po ngayon ay nasa hospital dahil sa pleural effusion at possible po na cancer. Hingi lang po sana ako ng dagdag tulong pinansyal, hindi po sa hospital bills kundi sa pagbili po ng oxygen tank na kakailangan po ng mother ko pag nauwi na po namin sila. Magiging oxygen dependent na po kasi ang mother ko. Naubos na rin po ang fund namin para sa medication po ni mother habang andito po kami sa hospital. Sana po ay mapansin at matulungan nyo po kami kahit kunte.

October 28, 2021 Dear Erson Primero, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 27, 2021 10:31:16 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Medical Assistance. Response to your request We wish to inform you that the coverage of financial assistance under the PCSO Medical Assistance Program is for hospital confinement, chemotherapy and dialysis requests. Application for assistance shall depend upon the location of the health facility where the patient is being managed/treated. For facilities within Metro Manila, assistance is processed through online application at the PCSO Official Website. Please go to , find the E-Services tab and click on the NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance. For the Medical Assistance Program requirements, kindly go to this link https://www.pcso.gov.ph/ProgramsAndServices/CAD/MedicalAccessProgram.aspx. For chemotherapy, post kidney and liver transplant/ hemophilia medicines and epoetin injection under the PCSO Medical Access Program, please find the attached herein new procedures for the availment of medicines for outpatients under the Medical Access Program in NCR. For those in the provinces, either proceed directly to the servicing PCSO Branch Office or coordinate first with the Medical Social Services or Billing Department of the facility, if applicable, to inquire on the specific process, as procedures vary between Branch Offices.
