I am a graduate student of Master of Arts in Education, major in Educational Administration at the College of Education, University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. I am currently writing my thesis under the supervision of my thesis adviser, Dean Jerome T. Buenviaje, Ph.D. My thesis is tentatively titled “Middle Leadership and Academic Optimism of Public Junior High Schools.” It mainly seeks to understand how department-head leadership explains the different levels of academic optimism of public junior high schools.
In line with this, I am humbly requesting the followind documents:

The listed documents above are essential to identify and select the target public junior high schools needed for my study. The data on the population of teachers and students will be part of the criteria for selecting schools. Also, the School Report Card of public junior high schools in Q.C. will guide me to select schools that potentially have high, average, and low academic optimism. The Rest assured that the study will bring no harm to nor demand any cost from the selected schools and research participants.
The data that will be gathered will be useful in obtaining in-depth analysis of how department-head leadership is related to positive school culture where teachers are confident that they can make significant difference in student learning.
