Hi can you pls provide me of the following for the lrt cavite proj. 1)status of the proj. 2)exact date of actual construction will happen. 3) detailed engineering design. Pls. Provide answer on all the 3 inquiries as this is not a national security issue. Thanks in advance

January 24, 2018 Dear Dan Garcia, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jan 10, 2018 01:38:31 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You asked for lrt cavite updates. Your FOI request is approved. Please see below LRMC’s reply to the FOI post dated January 10, 2018 re CavEx update: 1. Status of the project Work on the Cavite Extension has started already. For now we are focused on the pre-construction work including: mobilization, data gathering for design and construction purposes, and; development of plans and preliminary designs. 2. Exact date of actual construction The exact date of actual construction will be determined as soon as LRMC receives full turnover of the right of way (ROW) for the Cavite Extension alignment. LRMC is working in close coordination with the Department of Transportation to secure the ROW as soon as possible. 3. Detailed engineering design Detailed engineering design has yet to be finalized.
