hi po, I've been trying to reach to the previous school of my brother and my daughter for their LRN thru text messages and their messenger asking for their LRN number so that I can register them on online scholarship and ESC subsidy, the school also haven't distributed the report card so that I don't have any source of info with Regards to the LRN, hoping for the quick response on this matter, thank you very much these are the names of my LRN queries Craig Justin Cayasa Chloe Franchescavenice Cabalo

July 9, 2020 Dear mae cayasa, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jul 07, 2020 01:30:28 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for LRN. Response to Request Please be informed that the receiving school has the responsibility to register/update learner's record in the Learner Information System (LIS) and in the absence of the Learner Reference Number (LRN), the receiving school is instructed to register the child in the LIS (if qualified) so he/she can obtain his/her LRN, pursuant to the attached DepEd Issuances. Although LRN is not required for enrollment, the parents should provide any document/s to the receiving school proving the learner's eligibility to the intended grade level. In case that the originating school is not DepEd registered/authorized, the learner should take the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) to assess the learner's grade level capability. Should you have further clarifications, you can directly seek the assistance of the concerned school administration where you intend to enroll the child and/or the nearest DepEd Regional/Division Office.
