In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query.
1. Number of cities and municipalities in the Philippines that have submitted route rationalization plans.
- Are you referring to the Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP), which is the local route plans for cities/municipalities, or the Route Rationalization Plans of the Metro Manila Urban Transportation Integration Study Update and Capacity Enhancement Project (MUCEP), Manila and surrounding areas?
2. Route plans for key urban areas in the country (Metro Manila, Metro Cebu and Davao City)
- Are you referring to Route Rationalization Plans? The study for the Route Rationalization of MUCEP, under LTFRB, is still ongoing, adjusted due to pandemic. While the study for Metro Cebu and Davao City are being handled by DOTr.

I refer to my letter of Feb 22, 2021 about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Local public transport route plans. In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request.
As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of May 17, 2021.
You may wish to submit a new request describing the specific information you are looking for, and we will be able to consider it under the guidelines as stated in Executive Order No. 2.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to or visiting our central office.
