October 23, 2018 Dear Jennifer Jove, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 18, 2018 10:48:10 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You asked for Local Public Transport Route Plan. Your FOI request is approved. Here is the response from our ROAD Sector. To answer the request, before we delve into the implementation of the Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) Modernization Program in Bacoor Cavite, the Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP) should be finalized first (Attached in this e-mail is the JMC between DOTr and DILG). The following are the steps: 1. Capacity building for LGUs by the DOTr 2. LPTRP preparation and submission by the LGUs 3. LPTRP approval and franchise issuance by the LTFRB With this, kindly lodge your request to the LGU of Bacoor, Cavite. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you.
