For research purposes and further study, kindly tabulate the above request of accidents in the period of 2012-2022 for (1) vessels flying the Philippine flag, and; (2) vessels under different flag but happened within the Philippine waters . Note: the term "vessel" as defined by the ColRegs.
1. Safety-related including but not limited to capsizing, grounding, beaching, fire, total loss, man overboard
2. Environment-related ie oil spill (small scale and wide scale), accidental discharge, jettison
3. Attempted and successful piracy attacks, hijacks, stowaways

For more comprehensive results, kindly specify how many are per category (ie (1) PH-flagged vessels or (2) other flag vessels but within PH waters) and for each item (eg safety- abandonship; safety- MOB; environment-major oil spill; piracy-attempted etc). Because with your reply, the general public will be more informed of the status of the maritime.

You asked for List of vessel accidents (safety, environment and piracy-related) in the period of 2012-2022.
Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved. I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested. Relative to your request, you may also inquire with the Philippine Coast Guard as they headed the Board of Marine Inquiry/ Special Board of Marine Inquiry which during the earlier years investigated maritime incidents.
Your right to request a review
