Good day! I am Melissa Marticio, a first-year medical student from St. Luke's Medical Center College of Medicine - William H. Quasha Memorial. My classmates and I are planning to conduct a study entitled "The Association of Screen Time with Behavioral Problems and Sleep Outcomes among Preschoolers in Metro Manila." We are humbly requesting for a list of day care centers and pre-schools in Quezon City. The list will be very helpful to us in sample size calculations, which will be included in our proposal presentation.

Your request
You requested information on the following: (1) List of day care centers and pre-schools in Quezon City.
Response to your request
Unfortunately, the DSWD has limited data on your request. We only have data with respect to day care centers accredited by the DSWD in Quezon City. Thus, the DSWD can only partially grant your request and we shall refer your request with respect to this matter to the proper DSWD office.
Data on accredited public and private pre-schools are with the Department of Education, they may have the data you need. Hence, you may wish to direct your request to the DepEd by submitting a request to them via this portal. You may also contact them by telephone at 636-1663, 633-1942 or +639194560027 or via email at [email protected].
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary ROLANDO JOSELITO D. BAUTISTA at DSWD-Central Office, IBP Road Batasan Pambansa Complex, Constitution Hills, Quezon City. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
