Greetings! I knew that the OSG has been continuously drowned with flak due to the "controversial" cases that the OSG has won. I want to show that the OSG has indeed fulfilled its role as the tribune of the people by winning cases that would favor the Filipinos. Therefore, I humbly request for a: -A list of all Landmark cases WON by the OSG from June 30, 2016-present -A list of top ordinary cases (that have impacted the general welfare of the people/ that have given protection, benefits, etc. to the Filipinos) WON by the OSG from June 30, 2016-present

Your request You asked for LIST of OSG's Victories in Landmark and Ordinary Cases. Response to your request We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online under the E-FOI PORTAL, foi.gov. ph, particularly: https://www.foi.gov.ph/downloads/inventory-of-exceptions-to-eo-2.pdf Your requested information falls under the list of exceptions to right to access to information provided under the INVENTORY OF EXCEPTIONS TO EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 2. (S. 2016) dated Nov. 24, 2016, which provides: 9. Other exceptions to the right to information under laws, jurisprudence, rules and regulations, such as: Xxx (d)Lists, abstracts, summaries of information when such lists, abstracts or summaries are not part of the duties and responsibilities of the government office requested.” Xxx As the request calls for the preparation of abstract, list or summaries of information on cases, which are not part of the OSG’s mandate, the request is denied. Furthermore, the requested information might involve the disclosure, intended or unintended, of information that are considered privileged under the inventory of exceptions.
