November 17, 2021 Dear Rizalino B. Delos Santos, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated 12 November 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request List of IP communities that are holders of CADT/CADC Certificate in Mindanao Response to your request Unfortunately, the DSWD does not have the information you need. Thus, we are constrained to deny your request. It is the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) that may have the data that you require. Under Republic Act 8371 (the “The Indigenous Peoples Rights Act of 1997”), the NCIP shall be the primary government agency responsible for the formulation and implementation of policies, plans and programs to recognize, protect and promote the rights of ICCs/IPs. Hence, you may wish to direct your request to the NCIP by submitting a request to them via this portal. You may also contact them by telephone at (02) 572-1200 or via email at [email protected]. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary ROLANDO JOSELITO D.
