October 9, 2019 Dear Gretshine Milay, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Aug 20, 2019 05:06:10 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for LIST OF ENDEMIC MARINE SPECIES IN CAVITE. Response to your request This is to formally acknowledge your request for information from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources. We would like to apologize for not promptly responding to your request.. This is due to some technical gaps we have encountered in securing access to the FOI portal. Please rest assured however that we have already initiated measures to address the cause of delay and improve further our services. With regards to your request, we regret to inform you that the Bureau has no available inventory of endemic marine species. We advise that you coordinate the DENR-Biodiversity Management Bureau. However, the Bureau has conservation programs on commercially viable endemic species like Ludong, Tawilis, Maliputo, Kindly visit our BFAR Library at PCA Building, Elliptical Rd, Quezon City as we can also provide a list of common and local names of Marine Fishes of the Philippines.
