This is in connection with your e-FOI request regarding the details of Richard Laureta.
Your requests have been filed and it appears that Richard Laureta is registered in our PVAO system. However, you need to provide us details of your information pertaining to your relationship with Laureta, such as Birth Certificate or any proof that he is your relative.
To request the availability of his records you must first provide the following details:
*Request Form (Please see attached file)
*Photocopy of 2 valid IDs (Requestor)
*and a letter addressed to COL NIEVES E GAT-EB Chief of Veterans Records Management Division (VRMD), stating your relationship with Richard Laureta and the reason for your request to acquire his records. Kindly note, that we give records to immediate family members, in your case, kindly indicate why you are requesting for his records or the reason for the unavailability of an immediate family member to request his accounts on his behalf.
Once this is answered, the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office will undergo thorough research and will coordinate with you soon once it is finished.
May we remind you that the records we have are dependent upon the submitted information given to our agency when they have applied for PVAO services.

Dear Ernest Ryanshamar,
I refer to my letter of Apr 19, 2022 about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for List of deceased Philippine Army. In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request.
As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of Jul 12, 2022.
You may wish to submit a new request describing the specific information you are looking for, and we will be able to consider it under the guidelines as stated in Executive Order No. 2.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to or visiting our central office. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
