To whom it may concern, I am Tyrone Joseph S. De Leon, a claimant for the liquidation PPLIC. I would like to inquire the more than 3 years liquidation of this insurance company since 2018 and no available circular or memorandum from the IC what happen to the liquidation. I am waiting for my hard earned money to given back to me. Hoping that this query will be given an appropriate response as I am still waiting for my money to be given back.

July 14, 2021 Dear Tyrone Joseph De Leon, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jan 21, 2021 04:04:04 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for Liquidation Status Report of Philippine Prudential Life Insurance. Response to Request May we inform you that concerning the status of the claims against the PPLIC, the Insurance Commission's (IC) Conservatorship, Receivership and Liquidation Division has advised the following: 1. PPLIC is currently in the process of Liquidation with Atty. Iris Sylvia L. Bonifacio as the designated Liquidator. The public was already notified of the liquidation status of the company, through a Notice to the Public that was published in the Philippine Star newspaper on 02, 09 and 16 March 2018. 2. The public was also notified of the PPLIC's assets to be sold in a Notice of Sale published in the Philippine Star on 26 April 2020. The IC shall be posting another Notice when the settlement of claims will start. Meanwhile, the Liquidator is working on liquifying the corporate assets of the company. 3. For further updates and information, the claimant/policyholder may contact PPLIC through mobile numbers 0917-5777542 and 0966-7261999, as well as email address at [email protected].
