Your Request You asked for Learner's Reference Number (LRN) Response to Request Thank you for communicating with us. Please be informed that the receiving school has the responsibility to register/update learner's record in the Learner Information System (LIS) and in the absence of the Learner Reference Number (LRN), the receiving school is instructed to register the child in the LIS (if qualified) so he/she can obtain his/her LRN, pursuant to the attached DepEd Issuances. Although LRN is not required for enrollment, the parents should provide any document/s to the receiving school proving the learner's eligibility to the intended grade level. In case that the originating school is not DepEd registered/authorized, the learner should take the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) to assess the learner's grade level capability. Should you have further clarifications, you can directly seek the assistance of the concerned school administration where you intend to enroll the child and/or the nearest DepEd Regional/Division Office.
