Hi! I would like to request the latest signed/approved Rice Tariffication bill for research purposes. We're trying to understand the market outlook.
January 14, 2019 Dear Ana, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jan 12, 2019 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Latest Rice Tariffication Bill. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, as per Office of the Undersecretary for Policy and Planning, the Department of Agriculture cannot released yet the information you have requested since it was not yet signed into law. As a matter of policy, we cannot released any signed documents since it was not DA who drafted the rice tariffication bill but it was the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) who drafted the said bill. Currently, the bill was approved by the senate committee on its third and final reading.
