Good morning to whoever may be of concern, I would like to request the latest reported estimated number of public commuters (Trains, buses, public vans such as Fx, jeeps, and tricycles) to be used in our academic studies regarding our thesis paper under De La Salle University. Thank you!
October 2, 2023 Dear Alessandra, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Sep 28, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Latest Reported Estimated Number of Public Commuters. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. Your request is very general, it would be helpful to be particular with the data you would need. Also, we can only provide data for MRT-3 ridership. For Public Utility Vehicles (such as bus, jeepney, FX etc.), you may request the data from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) on the same eFOI portal. For PNR, you may wish to contact the Philippine National Railways on the same eFOI portal. For LRT line 2, you may request the data from the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) on the same eFOI portal. For LRT line 1, kindly coordinate with Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC). For tricycles, kindly coordinate with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of the specific area. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary Jaime J. Bautista at [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
