I am requesting, particular data or inventory of the latest National Achievement Test (NAT) result and least-mastered competency in mathematics for all junior high school levels (Grade 7-10), These are the specific data
- Mean percentage score in mathematics National Achievement Test (NAT) of: (1) the Philippines – overall MPS; (2) National Capital Region – NCR; and (3) in Valenzuela City.
- statistic data of least-mastered competency in mathematics that was obtained from item analyses collated among public schools from the Division of Valenzuela City for the school years 2020-2021.

Regarding my request dated June 20, 2022, particular about data or inventory of the latest National Achievement Test (NAT) result and least-mastered competency in mathematics for all junior high school levels (Grade 7-10), I am forwarding this letter to you to provide more information about the document I am requesting. These are the specific information about my request:
- Mean percentage score in mathematics National Achievement Test (NAT) of: (1) the Philippines – overall MPS; (2) National Capital Region – NCR; and (3) in Valenzuela City.
- Statistic data of least-mastered competency in mathematics that was obtained from item analyses collated among public schools from the Division of Valenzuela City for the school years 2020-2021.
The requested data or document will be utilized for our undergraduate study/thesis entitled "Combined Peer-Jigsaw strategy in Polynomial functions on grade 10 students in Dalandanan National High School ". The document will help our team outline or list down the least-mastered skills that we will address in providing an instruction intervention among our chosen learners in our study. This list will be the sole bases for the content of our intervention.
Furthermore, this study is quasi-experimental in design where the respondents will be grouped into experimental and control groups. Both will be subjected to learn Polynomial functions; the control will receive a traditional instructional material while the experimental will use Peer-Jigsaw strategy. The expected output of the study is the assessed academic performance of the students in learning polynomial functions using the Peer-Jigsaw strategy that will be generated by the researchers and will be applied or implemented in the school where the study will be conducted.

Dear Renz Tapinit,
I refer to my letter of Jun 20, 2022 05:36:00 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for latest National Achievement Test (NAT) results.
Please be informed of the additional requirements you need to submit. To process your request, kindly submit the following documents to [email protected], stating your FOI request tracking code:
a. Letter specifying the purpose of the request and the data being requested (year administration, scope, variables);
a. School ID to show proof that you are enrolled in a higher education institution;
B. Copy of your approved thesis/dissertation proposal signed by your Adviser;
c. Endorsement letter signed by the school Dean.
Note that the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA) can only release 10% of the actual number of examinees per year. Individual test results with names shall not be released unless the “data subject agrees to the collection and processing of personal information about and/or relating to him/her” per Section 3 of Republic Act 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Additionally, a corresponding amount shall be charged by BEA for the processing of the data request.
