How the data will be used in our architectural thesis entitled "Fostering Urban Security and Cross-Cultural Harmony in Malate District Implementing Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design":
To determine the potential effects of the development of "Manila Korea Town" in Malate on the tourism sector, the data will be used to identify areas in Malate that are frequently visited by Korean tourists and assess their vulnerability to crime. This information will then be used to develop architectural design interventions that can help to reduce crime and improve the safety of Korean tourists in Malate.
Brief background of the architectural thesis: Malate is well-known for its dense population, exciting nightlife, and entertainment options. It also has a reputation for being one of the areas of the city that is most vulnerable to crime. By studying the potential of architectural design as a tool for crime prevention, the architectural thesis seeks to contribute to the reduction of crime in Malate.
Thank you!
