Dear Angelo Jan Tanglao,
Greetings!
Thank you for your request dated Nov 17, 2020 11:33:58 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
You asked for Key Statistics For Non-Life Insurance Companies Per Company, Per Line of Business, Per Year, i.e. e: Gross Premiums Written, Net Premiums Written, Net Income and Premiums Earned per year from 2016-2019, per company and per line of business for all non-life insurance companies in the Philippines.
May we inform you that as advised by our Statistics and Research Division, the data per company is found in the Insurance Commission Annual Report appendices. However, only the 2016 and 2017 IC Annual Reports are currently available. For further information on how you may be able to acquire copies of said reports, please contact the IC Administrative Division-Property and Supply Section at telephone number (02) 85238461 loc. 120, look for Ms. Paulette Delgado or Ms. Jenina Roussel A. Vergara. You may also kindly email them at
[email protected],
[email protected] and
[email protected].
In the Annual Report appendices, premiums written and premiums earned are found in multiple tables in Table B while premiums earned and net income are in Table VI (summary of operations).
Alternatively, IC also publishes performance per company in our website based on Gross Premiums Written, Net Premiums Written, Premiums earned and Net Income - https://www.insurance.gov.ph/statistics/non-life/ . However, this is not per line of business.
