The purpose of the FOI request is to be able to follow up on the commitment of the DPWH regarding provision of protected bike lanes on all new, future road projects.
As an additional question, I would like to ask why a formal letter is necessary? Isn't this (i.e., e-FOI platform) enough, given that I have already proven my identity on my sign-up to this FOI platform? I would appreciate some streamlining of the process also because providing those formalities seem redundant to me for this simple FOI request....
