Your request You requested for information on the following: (1) Number of Juvenile Delinquency cases in the Philippines; (2) Reported data over the past ten years; and (3) Hierarchy of the most committed crimes to the least. Response to your request Unfortunately, the DSWD does not have the information you need. Thus, we are constrained to deny your request. Under Republic Act 10630 (the “Juvenile Justice Welfare Act”), the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council (JJWC) oversees the implementation of the law. Thus, the JJWC may have the data you require. Hence, you may wish to direct your request to the JJWC by submitting a request to them via this portal. You may also contact them by telephone at 921-0565 or via email at [email protected]. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary ROLANDO JOSELITO D.
