Last October 2021, i applied for the assistance given by Balik Pinas Balik Hanapbuhay program by OWWA for distressed ofw.I already completed the requirements that they need for the program, and they told me that it will take 45 working days.may i request your good office if you still have data regarding this matter so that i can claim my assistance. March 11, 2022 Dear Ms. Josie Batinda-an, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Mar 09, 2022 05:40:01 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for the status of Balik Pinas, Balik Hanapbuhay (BPBH) application. OWWA Verification show that your Membership expired on Mar 2021. Records further show that you applied online for DOLE-AKAP on October 14, 2021 and your OEC was processed on January 20, 2021. However, we do not have information of your Balik Pinas Balik Hanapbuhay application. It is suggested that you visit OWWA Region 4A at Calamba City at the Province of Laguna Extension Office Complex along Chipeco Avenue. You can also visit the OWWA Satellite Office nearest you. Further be properly informed that it was only this month that the Face-to-Face transaction was allowed. Hence, schedule of Livelihood/Business Orientation and the site inspection is being done in all Regional OWWA Offices. Call the OWWA Region 4A at 0935 566 1505 or 0917 536 9436 to check the status of application. Moreover review the BPBH requirements in the different IT media platform. Because the major requirements of BPBH is an Active OWWA membership and the loss of employment is of distressful/exploitative nature. OFWs with finished contract are not included in the BPBH. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac at email: [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter.
