Hi! I am a journalism student from UP Diliman. We are currently exploring the jeepnney modernization plan of the department and we are in need of the following to further understand the plan and disseminate the correct information to the public: 1. A copy of DOTr's jeepney modernization plan; 2. Raw datasets on the number of registered public utility jeepneys (PUJs) nationwide; and 3.Raw datasets on the number of registered public utility jeepneys (PUJs) above 15 years old. Thank you!

March 10, 2017 Dear Luisa Pineda, I refer to your Mar 01, 2017 08:22:41 PM request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Jeepney Modernization Plan. The guidelines for the PUV Modernization Plan are still being drafted. Please note also that this does not cover jeepneys alone but all land-based modes of public transportation. Would a briefer/FAQ on the plan suffice? During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. April 5, 2017 Dear Luisa Pineda, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Mar 09, 2017 02:15:42 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You asked for Detailed plans regarding the PUV Modernization Program. Your FOI request is approved. I enclose a copy of the FAQ on the PUV Modernization Program. These were also presented in the DOTr Facebook Page in the form of infographics. For the data sets on public utility jeepneys, you may request from LTFRB. They are already on board the portal.
