Purpose: DOST Scholarship

Hello! I am applying for DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship. I was wondering if I could get a copy of my parents' BIR Certification of Exemption for 2019. Their names are Maria Ana Pia L. Mandap and Ronwaldo P. Mandap. Thank you and keep safe!
September 7, 2020 Dear REIGN MANDAP, Thank you for your response, with regard to my letter regarding clarifying your request on ITR Copy Request, dated . We would still need to request you to further clarify your request. Is this still needed or relevant? Your parent's ITRs (if any) are provided by their employers and not the BIR. If did not file this is the time when your parents need an Affidavit on Non-Filing for scholarship purposes thru a Notary Public and this will in turn be submitted to the concerned BIR Office ( we do not know where your/parents' location is) for them to issue a certification. Just email me at [email protected] if you have other questions. You would still have until Nov 27, 2020 05:10:20 PM to provide the information. We hope to hear from you at the soonest possible time. Thank you. Respectfully, Maria Lourdes Narvaez, OIC- Chief FOI Officer
Dear Ms. Mandap While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, however, in this instance your request has been denied because our office is restricted by rules under Sec. 270 of the NIRC of 1997, as amended and Data Privacy Act of 2012. Thank you. Respectfully, Maria Lourdes D. Narvaez OIC Chief, Public Information and Education Division
