Hello! Could we please have, in Excel format, annual internal revenue collections from 2016-2022 and monthly internal revenue collections from 2022-latest 2023? Apart from the grand total, the breakdown in tax classification is important -- DIRECT TAXES (Company, Individual, Others), INDIRECT TAXES (Excise, VAT), PERCENTAGE TAXES, and OTHER TAXES -- and disaggregation to the lowest levels possible (e.g., corporate& withholding at source for DIRECT TAXES/Company and likewise for other items). Thank you!
January 5, 2024 Dear Mr. Africa: Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Dec 29, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Internal revenue collection, 2010-2023. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. However, you may refer to the BIR Annual Report which is posted under the BIR Website (https://www.bir.gov.ph) under Transparency Seal. Thank you. Respectfully, FOI Receiving Officer Public Information and Education Division
Dear BIR FOI Receiving Officer, Thank you for your reply to this FOI request. Unfortunately your reply that "this Office does not have the information you have requested" is unacceptable because the request is for standard BIR revenue data. Please find attached the kind of information being requested as verification that the data requested is indeed something normally collected and collated by BIR. Hence, please consider this a reiteration of the earlier request. May we please either have the data or a better explanation of why BIR claims to "not have the information [being] requested". Thank you.
