Hi,
I'm reviewing my contributions and trying to understand how the dividends are computed using PAGBIG's published divided rates. For example, dividend rates are 6.91%, 6.73%, and 5.62% for 2018, 2019, and 2020 respectively. Do you have any material (even a spreadsheet) that could simulate how I dividends for 2019 and 2020 are computed? I'm using 3 years because I read somewhere that dividends from previous years are also considered.
Please advise. Thanks!

Dear MS. CRISTINA S. YU,
This refers to your eFOI request received on 27 September 2021 sent to the eFOI portal of the Home Development Mutual Fund (Fund) wherein you asked for any material, even a spreadsheet, that could simulate how the dividends for years 2019 and 2020 were computed.
According to you, you want to understand how dividends are computed using the Fund’s published dividend rates for the years 2018, 2019, and 2020.
In response to your request, please find attached files from our Research and Development Department, as confirmed and validated by our Finance Group, containing the simulation of dividends for years 2018, 2019, and 2020.
Thank you.
Very truly yours,
ATTY. JOSE ROBERTO F. PO

Deputy Compliance Officer
Atty. Po, thank you for the spreadsheets. Unfortunately, I am still unable to reconcile the details from my VIRTUAL PAGIBIG based on them.
FROM VIRTUAL PAGIBIG:
Total Dividends -> 11,023.98
Total Savings -> 36,623.98
2019 Dividends -> 1,824.64
2020 Dividends -> 1,784.15
I think this is most likely due to the fact that in the simulation,
1. Transaction date is fixed on 20th of each month
2. There's no angle on compounding interest
With this, can we tweak the spreadsheet based on my details?
FROM BRANCH PRINTOUT - Balance Forwarded as of 12/31/2018:
