In partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree Bachelor of Science in Architecture, I am working on my Undergraduate Architectural Thesis Research titled "Lupad: A New Dumaguete International Airport Complex, Intelligent Architecture Integrated with Post-Pandemic Adaptive Design in Bacong, Negros Oriental"
The main purpose of this study is to propose a new design for the New Dumaguete (Bacong) Airport that adapts to the new normal, stressing disease outbreak resilience in future airport planning, design, and preparedness techniques. Enhancing the user experience by designing an airport environment that responds fast and protects passenger health and safety in order to restore passengers' trust into taking flights again.
