Hi PCSO, I am writing you to seek for your help and assistance needed for my brother who is currently confined at Global Care Medical Center of Bay Laguna. He was admitted last Sept 15 due to breathing problem, fever cough and sobrang panghihina. He si currently without work and a home parenting his 6 children aging 12 and the youngest is 1 yr old. He has no capacity to pay this hospitalisation. Sana po mtulungan nyo po kami. Maraming salamat po. Wala po social worker sa hospital ngayon kaya wlaa kami malapitan para mag asikaso ng tulong pinansyal. Maraming salamat po.

Thank you for your request dated Sep 20, 2021 02:49:03 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Hospitalisation Bills Financial Assistance Request for Covid-19 Patient. Response to your request We wish to inform you that the coverage of financial assistance under the PCSO Medical Assistance Program is for hospital confinement, chemotherapy and dialysis requests. Application for assistance shall depend upon the location of the health facility where the patient is being managed/treated. For facilities within Metro Manila, assistance is processed through online application at the PCSO Official Website. Please go to , find the E-Services tab and click on the NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance. For the Medical Assistance Program requirements, kindly go to this link https://www.pcso.gov.ph/ProgramsAndServices/CAD/MedicalAccessProgram.aspx. For those in the provinces, either proceed directly to the servicing PCSO Branch Office or coordinate first with the Medical Social Services or Billing Department of the facility, if applicable, to inquire on the specific process, as procedures vary between Branch Offices. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to . Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
