Hello, I am writing to ask for help for hospital bills of my father, amounting more than 200,000, aside from his medicine maintenance amounting 1,000 - 2,000 per day. He's still in the hospital now and his bill is increasing because we can't be able to pay the full bills. We try to please the hospital a lot of times but they don't have any considerations. July 29, 2022 Dear Francisco Gadayan III, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jul 29, 2022 12:04:43 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for Hospital Bill and Medicine Maintenance. Response to Request Please find the attached herein document on the coverage of financial assistance under the PCSO Medical Assistance Program with the respective documentary requirements. Likewise, please note that maintenance medications, except those that are for neuro-psychiatric conditions, are not included in the coverage of the program. Further, we wish to inform you that the application for assistance shall depend upon the location of the health facility where the patient is being managed/ treated. For facilities within Metro Manila, assistance is processed through online application at the PCSO Official Website. Please go to , find the E-Services tab and click on the NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance. For those in the provinces, either proceed directly to the servicing PCSO Branch Office or coordinate first with the Medical Social Services or Billing Department of the facility or Malasakit Center within the facility, if applicable, to inquire on the specific process, as procedures vary between Branch Offices. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to .
