Hi! I would like to request the following data: Health statistics of OFWs with Chronic Kidney Disease that worked in the six Gulf states (Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates) between January 1, 2011 to 2021/2022. 1. Number of OFWs with who applied for assistance 2. Types of medical assistance requested 3. Types of illnesses 4. Sum spent on kidney dialysis in cases of OFWs 5. Number of OFWs who have Chronic Kidney Disease Additionally, we would request that for each country the data be disaggregated by: Gender Age Occupation Country

May 22, 2023 Dear Ms. Ma. Vhiktoria Siva, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated May 19, 2023 02:40:11 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for health statistics of OFWs with Chronic Kidney Disease from the six Gulf states. Ms. Siva be properly informed that concerns regarding the health and wellness including the population mortality rate is the mandate of the Department of Health and the Phil. Statistics Authority. You are advised to address you data requirements to these government offices. In addition, be correctly informed that R.A. 10801 (or OWWA Act of 2016) clarified the mandate and function of OWWA to provide welfare services to all overseas Filipinos and OWWA Program/financial assistance to the OWWA-Member OFWs and families. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing the OWWA- FOI Decision Makers at email: [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter.
