Your Request You asked for HCFC-123 Fire Extinguisher. Response to Request there is NO expiration date for the HCFC Chemical. However, there is periodic maintenance to ensure that the pressure left in the extinguisher tank is sufficient enough (it stays in the GREEN portion of the pressure indicator dial) to ensure that it will operate in an actual emergency. Further, may we send you a copy of our Memorandum Circular on erring BFP Personnel involved in the selling and distribution of extinguishers and other firefighting equipment (attached).
