Thank you for your request dated Dec 07, 2023 11:30:05 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Government savings. Data on budget line items removed after implementing a private IT system (preferably PPP project) 1) What's the agency 2) What's the budget line item that was removed/ substantially lowered 3) How much did the government save? Response to your request Please be informed that as a general policy, once a line item has been incorporated into the agency's budget under the General Appropriations Act, any appropriations specified therein can no longer be removed or significantly reduced. These funds shall be exclusively available for the specific purposes for which they are appropriated. After the end of the validity period, unreleased appropriations and unobligated allotments shall lapse, while unexpended or undisbursed funds shall revert to the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund in accordance with Section 28, Chapter 4, Book VI of E.O. No. 292. In view thereof, while our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, this Office does not have the information you have requested. Thank you.
