Dear Ms. Florelyn,
The title of my study is "Effectiveness of Government Efforts to Maintain Competitiveness with Respect to Artificial Intelligence and Automation".
The study aims to explore different efforts explored by the government to ensure national prosperity given the threats emerging technologies (i.e. artificial intelligence, automation, 3D printing). Emerging technologies are primed render obsolete the business process outsourcing which employs a significant portion of the population. The study also aims to compare efforts of the Philippine government with efforts of other governments facing the same issue such as India, and China.
The requested data (contracts with multinational technology corporations) aims to measure the level of training the Filipino workforce is aimed to achieve, identify which technologies the government deems to be critical for the retraining of workers, and the extent to which public-private partnerships are effective to combat these efforts as well as measure the potential return on investment on these contracts vis-a-vis other methods.
The expected output for this research will be in written format for personal consumption and to be distributed to a few select friends for personal discussion.
