Good day
I would like to request your good office for financial medical aid for the hospital bills of my wife who suffered a stroke last Aug. 9, 2021, just a week after receiving our second dose of the SINOVAC vaccine. She was released on August 28, 2021 , but on Sept. 25, she was admitted back due to a blood clot in her brain, as of this request she is still in the hospital. My wife has diabetes, which we have made known to the vaccination center. Her blood pressure then was normal before the first and second dose. I am not blaming the vaccine.
Hoping I could get some financial assistance

We wish to inform you that the coverage of financial assistance under the PCSO Medical Assistance Program is for hospital confinement, chemotherapy and dialysis requests. Application for assistance shall depend upon the location of the health facility where the patient is being managed/treated.
For facilities within Metro Manila, assistance is processed through online application at the PCSO Official Website. Please go to , find the E-Services tab and click on the NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance.
For the Medical Assistance Program requirements, kindly go to this link https://www.pcso.gov.ph/ProgramsAndServices/CAD/MedicalAccessProgram.aspx.
For those in the provinces, either proceed directly to the servicing PCSO Branch Office or coordinate first with the Medical Social Services or Billing Department of the facility, if applicable, to inquire on the specific process, as procedures vary between Branch Offices.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to .
