Good day! I am Joysa M Cantara, an ofw. Last December 2020, i applied for the assistance given by DOLE-AKAP for stranded ofw's and just recently, i saw from my owwa account that the said assistance was released already. I did not receive any message regarding where to claim it. May i request your good office if you still have data regarding this matter so that i can claim my assistance. Thank you for your request dated May 05, 2022 11:29:17 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for an update of your DOLE-AKAP Application. OWWA Verification System shows that you applied online on December 20, 2020 and your DOLE-AKAP financial assistance was released by DOLE Regional Office 4A on 02/17/2021. Be properly informed that it is the Department of Labor and Employment that processes and release the financial benefits. Coordinate with the DOLE Provincial Office at Lucena City or call the DOLE Hotline 1349. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac at email: [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter.
