'm asking for the status of the cash assistance application from OWWA-Dole Akap under SHERYLYN AUSTRIA CERDA. I have checked the dole-akap tracker and it says there my application has been approved but until now I have NOT received any txt message from Dole-Akap/OWWA to claim the money. Other OFW who applied after me already received a text message except for me. so unfair! I humbly ask for a response on this matter. I have been emailing Dole-Akap REGION 4A and tried contacting the OWWA hotline but they're very hard to reach. Always not available. I am very frustrated already. Thank you.

August 24, 2021 Dear SHERYLYN CERDA, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Aug 24, 2021 10:10:39 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for FOLLOW UP DOLE AKAP CASH ASSISTANCE. Response to Request Good day. Upon checking our records,wala pa po sa amin ang inyong application. Marahil ay nasa OWWA pa po at di pa naipo-forward sa amin for funding. Please be informed that once your approved application was forwarded to us by OWWA4A and the fund is available, we will process the said assistance as soon as possible. As of now, we are still waiting for the funds alloted for AKAP. The remittance center (USSC/Western Union) will be the one to inform you as to when you can claim your P10k cash assistance. Regarding the status of your application, please check with your tracker system doleakaptracker.owwa.gov.ph. Kindly wait for the "endorsed for payout" status in the tracking system.
