Dear Paccino Nazareth,
Greetings!
Thank you for your request dated May 04, 2020 09:56:08 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
Your Request
You asked for FINANCIAL SUPPORT ncov19.
Response to Request
This refers to your email dated April 1, 2020 regarding financial assistance.
The CAMP is implemented by the DOLE to lessen the impact of the pandemic to the country's economy, especially to the affected workers. However, the application to avail of the program is subject to our evaluation for determination of entitlement thereof. The CAMP's source of funds comes from the budget under the Social Protection Programs of the 2020 General Appropriation Act.
Please note that the filing of applications thereof was suspended on April 15, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. as CAMP requests ballooned beyond the financial capacity of the Department. If your company's application was submitted before April 15, 2020, you may visit www.campinfo.dole.gov.ph to check the list of CAMP granted establishments.
Please note that we only work around our remaining funds, but we are working with the Department of Finance to hopefully assist the rest of the qualified workers. As for the SBWS program, you may verify the eligibilty of your establishment before the Social Security System (SSS) through
[email protected] or contact them at 1455 (via cellphone) and 81455 (via landline). The Social Security System implements the Small Business Wage Subsidy.
Thank you and we hope to have guided you accordingly.
