March 29, 2021 Dear Mr. Riyadh Nojadera, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Mar 27, 2021 12:10:50 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch or Financial Assistance for OFW in UAE who were hospitalized due to Covid 19. Since you remain to be at UAE, your are not covered by programs for repatriated OFWs who lost their employment on account of COVID-19. Contact the Philippine Consular Office closest to you (Dubai or Abu Dhabi). The Embassy and the Philippine Labor Office give assistance to OFWs who opted to remain at UAE. If you have a valid employment contract, your employer is responsible for your hospitalization. However, if you are an undocumented worker, we advise that you contact immediately the Assistance to Nationals of the Philippine Embassy for your safety and protection. The contact numbers are available at website of the UAE Philippine Embassy. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac at email: [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request. However, if you are still not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you.
