Hi I'm Katrina and i would like to ask for financial assistance for my mother's treatment and operation. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago but she didn't tell us about it since she do not want us to worry. She only told us that she just have a cyst and she already have it removed. A month ago she told us the truth that she had breast cancer since we were also able to confirm it with her doctor. We really need her to undergo a mastectomy and we also need help with the expensive treatment, especially the chemotherapy sessions.

Thank you for your request dated Apr 27, 2022 01:31:23 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Financial Assistance for my mother's stage 2 breast cancer treatment. Response to your request Please find the attached herein document on the coverage of financial assistance under the PCSO Medical Assistance Program with respective requirements through the NCR Online Application. Application for assistance shall depend upon the location of the health facility where the patient is being managed/treated. For facilities within Metro Manila, assistance is processed through online application at the PCSO Official Website. Please go to , find the E-Services tab and click on the NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance. For the Medical Assistance Program requirements, kindly go to this link https://www.pcso.gov.ph/ProgramsAndServices/CAD/MedicalAccessProgram.aspx. For those in the provinces, either proceed directly to the servicing PCSO Branch Office or coordinate first with the Medical Social Services or Billing Department of the facility or Malasakit Center within the facility, if applicable, to inquire on the specific process, as procedures vary between Branch Offices. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to . Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
