Good morning po,nakikiusap po ako if pwede niyo kaming matulongan,yun nanay po namin na admit siya nung sept.5,2021 sa Queen of Mercy BAcolod Hospital,for severe pneumonia and covid positive,ngayon po aabot nang almost 1 milyon yung bill nia eh ilang days lang yunb hospitalization niya,pa discharge na po siya ngayon kasi hndi na po namin makaya yung bill,kaya lang hndi siya pwedeng e release nang hospital kung hnd po nakakabayad nang 70-80% nang bill,yung pera namin is 150k lang,ayaw nila tanggapin at mag stay pa yung nanay namin hanggang meron kaming pambayad nang 70-80% nang bill,

You asked for Financial assistance for covid positive patient,senior citizen with severe pneumonia.
Response to your request
We wish to inform you that the coverage of financial assistance under the PCSO Medical Assistance Program is for hospital confinement, chemotherapy and dialysis requests. Application for assistance shall depend upon the location of the health facility where the patient is being managed/treated.
For facilities within Metro Manila, assistance is processed through online application at the PCSO Official Website. Please go to , find the E-Services tab and click on the NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance.
For the Medical Assistance Program requirements, kindly go to this link https://www.pcso.gov.ph/ProgramsAndServices/CAD/MedicalAccessProgram.aspx.
For those in the provinces, either proceed directly to the servicing PCSO Branch Office or coordinate first with the Medical Social Services or Billing Department of the facility, if applicable, to inquire on the specific process, as procedures vary between Branch Offices.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to .
