Hi phil health team, I tested positive for Covid last August 24. Sadly my mom and lola also tested positive. My mom and lola stayed at home and cleared 14 days quarantine period. However, I was admitted at Metro Rizal docs since my symptoms were critical and was diagnosed with Moderate Pneumonia. I got discharged after 11 days (Aug 26-Sep6). However my bill was 350k, please help me with my bill any financial assistance is appreciated. Thank you
September 22, 2021 Dear Jeffret, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Sep 22, 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Financial Assistance for Covid Patient. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not provide financial assistance. However, you may wish to contact other govt. offices such as DSWD with regards to your request. In addition, please be informed that PhilHealth provides benefit for hospitalization. An active PhilHealth member, can avail the PhilHealth benefit prior discharge to the hospital via case rate packages. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
