Hi, I would like to request for financial assistance for ongoing isolated covid patient in La Salle Dasmariñas Hospital. Our bill reach 403,000 for only 8 days and still counting. My husband diagnose as severe pneumonia covid case going to critical and doctor said he will be isolated for 21 days which I dont know where I can find money to pay for it. He also diabetic which we don't know until he became covid patient. We max out the philhealth and hmo coverage and we dont know where we can get money to pay for the excess. Please help us.

May 24, 2021 Dear Norin Deniega, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated May 22, 2021 10:16:21 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Financial Assistance for Covid Patient. Response to your request we wish to inform you that the coverage of financial assistance under the PCSO Medical Assistance Program is for hospital confinement, chemotherapy and dialysis requests. Application for assistance shall depend upon the location of the health facility where the patient is being managed/treated. For facilities within Metro Manila, assistance is processed through online application at the PCSO Official Website. Please go to , find the E-Services tab and click on the NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance. Please see attached file. For those in the provinces, either proceed directly to the servicing PCSO Branch Office or coordinate first with the Medical Social Services or Billing Department of the facility, if applicable, to inquire on the specific process, as procedures vary between Branch Offices. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to . Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
