I am humbly asking for financial and medical aid for my brother who was tested positive for Covid 19 and is currently housed at a Mental Facility in Mandaue City. He was diagnosed with brief psychotic disorder, typhoid psychosis and Covid19 at a district hospital and was moved to a mental facility in the city 5 days later. He was supposed to wait for his turn at a government hospital but due to our incapacity to have him housed at home, we decided to avail of the private mental hospital's service. Thank you very much. My family and I are hoping for your positive response.

Thank you for your request dated Feb 15, 2022 12:44:14 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Financial Assistance for Covid 19 patient + hospitalization bills. Response to your request Please find the attached herein document on the coverage of financial assistance under the PCSO Medical Assistance Program with respective requirements through the NCR Online Application. Application for assistance shall depend upon the location of the health facility where the patient is being managed/treated. For facilities within Metro Manila, assistance is processed through online application at the PCSO Official Website. Please go to , find the E-Services tab and click on the NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance. For the Medical Assistance Program requirements, kindly go to this link https://www.pcso.gov.ph/ProgramsAndServices/CAD/MedicalAccessProgram.aspx. For those in the provinces, either proceed directly to the servicing PCSO Branch Office or coordinate first with the Medical Social Services or Billing Department of the facility or Malasakit Center within the facility, if applicable, to inquire on the specific process, as procedures vary between Branch Offices. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to . Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
