Hi! I am humbly asking for help for my Mom who has Pneumonia struggling for her breath and has been battling for Covid19 for 2 weeks now. My Mom who solely raised my Brother and I for almost 3 decades now confined in a hospital and now needing a Tocilizumab and a support for Hospital Bills. She started to have fever for a week with a severe cough and felt difficult in her breathing that lasted for another week because we couldn't find any oxygen and no hospital accepts Covid positive with Pneumonia. My Mom is the breadwinner in the family. She has been devoted to her teaching job. Pls help

February 10, 2022 Dear Oland Ian Bungay, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Sep 07, 2021 07:02:28 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for Financial Aid for my Single Mom with Covid and Pneumonia. Response to Request If employed, you may file your EC sickness claim at the SSS branch nearest you(for private sector employees); or at the GSIS (for public sector employees). The forms are available at the SSS/GSIS/ECC website. EC Claims Requirements: 1. Certificate of Employment (indicate the last day of duty prior to contracting COVID-19. 2. RT-PCR or Swab Test Result (Positive) 3. Medical Certificate or Home Quarantine Clearance 4. 2 Valid IDs Forms (SS Form B300 Sickness Notification and SS Form B309 Accident Report) If you already have an approved EC sickness claim at SSS/GSIS, you can then file an EC cash assistance claim at the ECC. The EC CA application form is available in our FB page and the requirements are as follows: 1. Proof of Approved EC Claim Voucher from SSS/GSIS 2. RT-PCR or Swab Test Result showing POSITIVE for CoVid-19, issued by a DOH accredited testing center / Medical Certificate / Home Quarantine Clearance issued by LGU Health Office/BHERT 3. 2 Valid IDs For more information, you may reach them through their chatbot at their website ecc.gov.ph or FB page facebook.com/ecc.official May we refer you also to the Medical Assistance Program of PCSO.
