Time period: 1988, 1991, 1994, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2012
Source: Annual Poverty Indicators Survey (APIS)
Time period: 1998, 2002, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017
Raw data needed: Child mortality, malnutrition, years of schooling, electricity, shelter, mobility, asset ownership (aggregated by region)

We would like to inform you that requesting for datafile, the office requires that you send a formal letter of request addressed to the head of the agency, Secretary Lisa Grace S. Bersales, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General. Further, once approved, the office requires that a data agreement be executed by the requester and PSA representaive before a datafile is provided.

Dear Kent Tangcalagan,
I refer to my letter of Mar 15, 2019 08:55:42 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for FIES and APIS raw regional data, 1988-2017.
We would like to inform that you when requesting for dataset (raw data) the following must be observed
1. Send a letter of formal request addressed to our Head of Agency with an affixed signature of the Agency Head/Thesis Adviser of the requester indicating the specific data of puf, its reference period, and the purpose of using the microdata to [email protected]
2. Once the request is approved, we will send you Data Product Agreement for your signature.
3. Requested data will be provided to you once required documents are processed and approved.
In the meantime, you may wish to visit the openstat.psa.gov.ph as this contains items of the surveys the PSA conducts, or you may send specification of tables (variables in row,column format) and we will do the tabulation for you.

Dear Kent,
I refer to my letter of Mar 20, 2019 about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for FIES and APIS raw regional data, 1988-2017. In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request.
As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of Jun 12, 2019.
You may wish to submit a new request describing the specific information you are looking for, and we will be able to consider it under the guidelines as stated in Executive Order No. 2.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to or visiting our central office. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
