Your Request You asked for FDAS and Sprinkle system Requirement for Dormitory. Fire Detection and Alarm Systems are required for residences with more than 12 compartments/rooms, even if it is only one storey. Approved, supervised sprinkler systems are only required for buildings with 4 storeys or more in height, unless the building is also used for high hazard operations other than for residential purposes.
