Hi! I hope this FOI request means well. I would like to inquire about the validation process and the documents needed for degrees obtained abroad. As stated in one of the previous FOI requests, international degrees received abroad are subjected to the CHED Office of Programs and Standards Development for evaluation and equivalency under PQF. I tried to check for some information on how to start this process, but unfortunately, I found none. Looking forward to your office's advice and recommendations. Thank you very much. Sincerely, MPdL

You asked for Evaluation and/or Validation of degrees obtained internationally. Your FOI request is approved. I enclose a copy of the information you requested. Please see the attached OPSD reply relative to your email requesting the procedures and documents for issuance of a CHED Certificate of Equivalency (CE) that will indicate your foreign degree could be considered as equivalent to a degree offered in Philippine higher education institutions needed to comply with the Professional Regulation Commission requirements.
